OSHO No-Dimension meditation

Introduction

I have recorded some practices and techniques that have been particularly helpful on my own path toward meditation. You can practice these techniques for free using the written instructions provided, or you can support my work by accessing recorded classes that include detailed verbal and visual guidance. You are able to see a full one hour long practice through www.osho.com or contact me directly.

Please note, I am neither a dancer nor a performer. Meditation has no form, and movement in this context serves as a reference point for exploring your inner self. It’s important to distinguish between movements used for performance and those used in meditation techniques. The latter aim to help you feel light, observant, free, and joyful.

If you encounter any difficulties with the shared practices, I strongly recommend consulting myself or an experienced teacher for guidance. I am happy to answer any questions and support you as you embark on this transformative journey.

I wish you a blissful journey toward a meditative state of mind.

OSHO No-Dimension meditation

This active centering meditation is based on Sufi techniques, using the breath and series of coordinated body movements followed by whirling, in which way your energy becomes centred in the hara, the “life energy”center below the navel. From there you can watch the mind and experience awareness and wholeness- the body moving in all directions, the center unmowing.  This practice has one hour and is divided into three stages:

First stage

Starting in continuous dance in a set of six movements. With your eyes open, the movement always come from the center, or hara, using specific  music to keep the correct rhythm. Please, make the movements and specific sounds with a loving heart and a centred awareness. Sound in this practice particularly helps to release the tension built up in your system and muscles over a long time and also has a deep calming effect on your nervous system. Is also important to align the sound and the movement in a correct way to harmonise your left and right cerebral hemispheres. This stage is 30 minutes long.

Second stage

With arms folded across your chest for a few moments bow down, in loving gratitude to existence and yourselves if you wish to, otherwise you can start whirling directly as the music changes. Begin whirling to the left or to the right, whichever feels best. If you whirl to the right, start with the right foot and right arm to the right and extend the left arm in the opposite direction. While you are whirling you can change your hands to any position which feels good to you. You whirl just like small children go on twirling. If this practice is new for you, please start very slowly, once your mind and body get attuned to the movements, the body will naturally go faster. If you get dizzy, it is okey to stop for a moment, then start again. To end the whirling, slow down as the music slows down and again, fold your arms across your heart center.

Third stage

Lie down on the belly, eyes closed. Relax and rest. If you find it uncomfortable to lie on your belly, lie down on your back instead. There is nothing to do, simply let go and relax.
